Measuring approximately 36mm in diameter without the crown by 43mm long, its elegant Calatrava style case is about the size of Rolex Datejust, although, to us, it might wear just a little larger.
Powering the watch is Omega's top-tier caliber 552 movement, one of the last superior 500's series movements used before Omega began trying to reduce their costs and the co-highest level offering in the 500 series. It has 24 jewels and is one of the finest mass-produced automatic movements from era.
It has all of its original parts and has just finished a true expertly done restoration. It presents in gorgeous condition.
Its case presents as mint with only light signs of previous polishing. Its silver dial has been meticulously restored - the printing could pass as Omega factory done to the naked eye.
As part of the restoration, its very fine caliber 552 movement with fine swans neck regulation has been overhauled by a Master Watchmaker. It is running strong and true, keeping quite accurate time.
For the finishing touch, it has been equipped with a new calfskin leather strap and aftermarket Omega style buckle making it ready for immediate use.
Included with the purchase is a one-year warranty on the movement and its function, a custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity, and a new timing certificate attesting to the watch's performance.
